When Honorees Art Certosimo and Allen B. Clark toured the Brooklyn Bureau's programs, they viewed more than classrooms and computer labs. They saw disabled adults learning to read and gaining vital life skills and work place skills. They met enthusiastic consumers learning computer skills, preparing for their GED or striving to improve their spoken English. The honorees witnessed disabled adults developing life goals and--most importantly--working toward the realization of those goals.
