BBCS' Gary Klinsky Children's Centers Hold 2nd Annual Wall Street Poker Invitational
A select group of top private equity, hedge fund and Wall Street executives, joined by basketball greats Walt Frazier and Earl (The Pearl) Monroe, gathered at the Racquet and Tennis Club in Manhattan for an invitation-only evening of World Series of Poker-style No Limit Texas Hold 'Em.

GKCC provides free after-school programs for almost 1,000 children in five public schools every school day and during the summer. GKCC kids receive three extra hours of cutting-edge teaching instruction in a safe, constructive environment every weekday afternoon. GKCC's theme-based, hands-on curricula enhance students' language, reading and math skills, foster improved school attendance and bolsters self-esteem.

GKCC is effective and efficient. During the critical K-5 grades, the 50% increase in daily learning time provided by GKCC is equal to three full years of additional learning. GKCC delivers a full year of service for $1,200 to each participating child, less than 10% of the New York City public schools' total expenditures per pupil.
